REST IN PEACE...MO!

The World of EyeCeyE today pays its respect to a great political figure and a well- respected woman.

Her political stance and her outspoken feelings on Ireland, Cannabis, the Iraq War and many other important issues showed a woman who knew how this country needed to be run. She became a bigger political spokesperson than Tony Blair, and he is still reeling from the standing ovation given to her during his political speech.

She had the grace to resign from politics because she could no longer lie to her constituency and pretend that the country was being run as it should. For that alone she needs commending. She put the people before her own job and income.

Despite suffering from a brain tumour at the turn of the century she battled on, and continued to speak out for what she believed in. I would have been happy for a woman like Mo Mowlam to have been Prime Minister, but unfortunately she was not 'centralised' enough for this government. Too radical, and too outspoken, maybe.

The world has lost a Great Woman this very morning.... God Bless Mo!!
