man, this is by my fave artist of all time.
Narcissus was a CUNT. i feel sorry for Echo, the painting makes me wish i could rescue her. but being as she's a mythological nymph from ancient Greece i guess there's not much chance of that happening...
Kate Moss and Pete docherty should look at this painting perhaps!
