Another Small-minded Cannabis Debate....(sigh!)

House of Commons Agree to appoint Select Committees and the presentation of two new Bills to parliament in respect to: "Reclassification of Cannabis"and "Roadside Drug Testing"

Debate abstracts: Christopher Chope (Christchurch, Conservative)

"I beg to move,That leave be given to bring in a Bill to provide for the reclassification of cannabis; to make provision for the roadside testing of illegal drugs;and for connected purposes.

The Bill is supported by parents, teachers, chief police officers, theMagistrates Association, road safety campaigners, academics, healthprofessionals, newspapers, journalists and the Conservative party.

All it needs is for the Government and the Liberal Democrats to come into line. The first aim of the Bill is to reclassify cannabis as a class B drug, as italways was before the Government's decision to downgrade the classificationin 2001. Who can be in any doubt that cannabis wrecks lives? ("...and alcohol doesn't?!?! - EyeCeyE)

After 10 yearsof Labour Government, more lives than ever, particularly those of children and young people, are being wrecked by cannabis. As The Independent onSunday said on 18 March:

"Teenage schizophrenia is the issue." [...]""One good way of deterring drug use and ensuring increased safety on ourroads would be to introduce "drugalyser" roadside testing.

It would work because, fortunately, surveys have been done showing that one in three people who currently drive after taking drugs say that they would be deterred from driving if the police did more checks. So we would immediately have fewer drivers on our roads with drugs in their systems if we hadroadside "drugalyser" tests.

The system is already in place in many countries in Europe and in Australia. The equipment necessary to carry out the tests is also available and has been used in other European countriesand in Australia.
That equipment is manufactured and produced in this country, but the Government are stalling on its introduction, therebydemonstrating once again that they are soft on cannabis. The link between cannabis use and bad driving is clear, as is the link between cannabis and mental illness. Why will the Government not do something about it? "This modest Bill should appeal to everyone who is ashamed of the way inwhich a generation of young people have been betrayed by a soft, ambiguouspublic policy on drugs. The Independent on Sunday has had the guts to admit that it was totally wrong in its assessment of this subject. It is now time for the Government to admit that they were totally wrong. I hope that we will be able to have a Division, because that will demonstrate which Members of the House believe that this is a serious subject that needsto be addressed, and which people in the House feel that this is a matterfor complacency, and that we can continue with the present, failed policies. Response by Brian Iddon (Bolton South East, Labour)

"I want to speak against this attempt to bring in serious measures via aten-minute Bill. There are issues to be debated—about the connection of cannabis to mental disease and also the effect of cannabis on people's driving ability—but if we are going to change the law, we need a much wider discussion than we can have in the context of a ten-minute Bill. That is the main reason why I am opposing the measure today. [...]""What is important is the harm that different species of cannabis cause. Ithink that the usage of cannabis will go down, because young people are learning that if it has high levels of tetrahydrocannabinol in it—the level could be as high as 15 per cent.—it causes mental health problems, but itdoes that to a small number of people, not to the public in general. Thereis a lot more research to be done on the subject, and it is far too early tobring such a Bill before the House. [...]"It is too early to introduce drug testing at the roadside. The people towhom we talked at the laboratory run by the Home Office near St. Albans toldus that cognitive tests can measure the ability to drive better than any of the instruments currently available, such as the breathalyser, which is usedfor alcohol testing. [..]""I oppose the Bill, largely on the grounds that the subject should not be dealt with in a ten-minute Bill, because the whole House should be part of this discussion. I also oppose it on the grounds that the measures that the hon. Gentleman has put to the House are impractical, at least at this stageof the development of the subject."

EyeCeyE's Response:

"As a Qualified Psychiatric Nurse who works with, and studies Schizophrenia, I can honestly tell you that there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE to suggest that the use of Cannabis amongst the population has increased the numbers of people developing Schizophrenia. The numbers and statistics remain unchanged. Those who do go on to develop Schizophrenia were ALWAYS GOING TO DEVELOP IT ANYWAY!!

But I guess we can't expect a serious debate from yet another small-minded Conservative MP, who will say whatever, to get back into parliament. Please read the actual research, not research conducted by Alcohol manufacturers, who are the real power behind the move to Re-Classify Cannabis. They risk a major loss in profit if Cannabis is legalised.

Young teenagers, I do agree, to a certain extent have still got developing amygdala's and emotional centres of the brain, and ANY Psychoactive drug is not encouraged for that age group, especially in large quantities, but for the adult population ASPIRIN IS MORE DEADLY.

Peace and Love in an Alcohol Dominated World, Please be choosy which advise you take onboard xxx

To Chip, or not To Chip, that is the question????

President Bush's former health secretary Tommy Thompson is putting the final touches to a plan that could result in US citizens having a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip inserted under their skin, The World of EyeCeyE has recently learned.

The RFID capsules would be linked to a computerised database being created by the US Department of Health to store and manage the nation's health records. It could be the precursor to a similar scheme in the UK.

The president's budget for 2006 continues to support the use of health information technology by increasing funding to $125m for pilot schemes.

Thompson, now a director of Applied Digital Solutions, the company that makes the chips, intends to publish the proposal in the next 50 days, by which time he plans to have had a VeriChip inserted in his arm. Thompson believes the capsules could help save thousands of lives every year.

TCDA document.write;
VeriChip spokesman John Procter says around 98,000 people die needlessly in the US every year after being given inappropriate treatment because their medical history was not available.
"There is a vast range of people who could benefit from having an RFID chip inserted under their skin as insurance against an accident. People with adverse reactions to certain medicines such as penicillin, people with pacemakers, people with allergies, people with weak hearts, would be made safer by a process that costs around $200 per person. In fact, virtually everyone could benefit from having a chip inserted."

THANK GOD SOMEONE REALLY, REALLY CARES ABOUT OUR HEALTH (HAHAHA, HOW FUCKING STUPID DO YOU THINK WE ARE?!?!?!)

The company intends to lobby the UK health authorities to inject the chips into British patients.
According to Procter, the chips can also be used for financial transactions. In Europe, the Baja Beach Club chain has introduced chipping in the Netherlands and Spain.

The VeriChip is inserted at the club and means club-goers will no longer have to wait in line to pay to get in and will be able to use the chip to pay their bar bill.

Civil liberties groups such as Caspian in the US fear that the need for increased security in the wake of terrorist attacks could act as a catalyst for a more widespread use of VeriChips

~It always boils down to one thing, TERRORISM, the only TERRORISM, i see, is the TERRORISM FROM OUR OWN GOVERNMENTS!!!!

I do not live in fear for my life, by anyone other than my own government, my own people, and our outdated, backward, all-controlling laws, a NANNY STATE where we need guidance to know how much food we eat, what kind, when we eat it, how much salt is in the diet, how many portions of fruit or veg, how many units of alcohol i can consume, which drugs, and when....it is fucking madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Give me an island, with no laws, or corruption, and i will be happy, this is no life for any human being, THIS IS THE LIFE OF A NON-THINKING SENTIENT BEING, A ROBOTS LIFE. Do not ask questions, only HOW HIGH!!

PEOPLE OF THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY, OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we back down on this issue, then our freedom is lost.

What is the difference between being a slave and being chained up, the VERICHIP is our CHAINS!!!

They hide the truth behind, health and safety, terrorism, financial improvement, when they ONLY want CONTROL. They want to know your EVERY MOVE. They will not back down, until we all agree to the process. THEY have my DNA. They will never implant a micro-chip into me, I WILL DIE BEFORE THEY DO!!!!!

Peace and Love to the few who stop to think, IS THIS RIGHT? xxx

HUMAN MICRO-CHIPPING

The VeriChip implant is a glass encapsulated RFID tag that is injected into the flesh to uniquely number and identify individuals. The tag can be read by radio waves from a few inches away.

The highly controversial device is being marketed as a way to access secure areas, link to medical records, and serve as a payment instrument when associated with a credit card or pre-paid account.

VeriChip Corporation, the much-hated purveyor of the VeriChip human ID implant, is airing its dirty laundry this week.

This is not by choice, mind you, but because the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) required the company to disclose its "risk factors" prior to launching its initial public offering of stock (IPO) Friday.

The company lays out nearly 20 pages of risk factors in its Form S-1 Registration Statement, a required document for the IPO. But what the company failed to reveal in its filing may be even more eye-opening, say CASPIAN privacy advocates Dr. Katherine Albrecht and Liz McIntyre.

The pair, authors of the "Spychips" series of books, have been vocal critics of VeriChip, dogging the company in recent years and facing down its senior executives on radio and national television.

"Potential investors should be told how a hacker can simply walk by a chipped person and clone his or her VeriChip signal, a threat demonstrated by security researcher Jonathan Westhues months ago," says McIntyre, who is a former federal bank examiner.

Are we all gonna stand by and watch ourselves be turned into human drones, controlled at the cellular level.

WHY DO WE NEED IT?????!!!!!!!!!!

It serves no REAL benefit to us as human beings, its true intention is solely for governmental, and multi-corporation control.

Bring back Saddam, Pol Pot, Stalin, Lenin, All is fuckin well forgiven!!!!!!!!

Peace and Love, well not for long, people, not for long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Brother Watches George Orwell's House!!!

On the wall outside his former residence - flat number 27b - where George Orwell lived until his death in 1950, an historical plaque commemorates the anti-authoritarian author. and within 200 yards of the flat, there are 32 cctv cameras, scanning every move.

Orwell's view of the tree-filled gardens outside the flat is under 24-hour surveillance from two cameras perched on traffic lights. The flat's rear windows are constantly viewed from two more security cameras outside a Conference Centre in Canonbury Place.
In a lane, just off the square, close to orwell's favourite pub, The Compton Arms, a camera at the rear of a car dealership, records every person entering or leaving the pub.

Within a 200-yard radius of the flat, there are another 28 cctv cameras, together with hundreds of private, remote-controlled security cameras used to scrutinise visitors to homes, shops and offices.

Well, citizens of England, thats Irony!

"Citizen 546659 Please extinguish your cigarette. This is a warning. You are in direct violation of Law 89(b) of the Smoke and Pollution Act 2018. If you do not adhere to this warning with immediate effect, you will be prosecuted. Your Biometric Identification will be tracked and you will be punished!!!" (United Kingdom in the future, its no joke!)

The beginning of the End

Ok, yet again, the destruction of our society has taken another turn for the worse.

Not only do we have approx. 4.2 Million CCTV cameras watching our every move, analysing our facial animation, studying our behaviour, to add another piece of data to each and every one of our individual profiles, but......................

We are now faced with loudspeakers shouting commands, rules, and laws at us, whilst we are walking down the street!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me, or has the whole fucking world gone mad?!?

I cannot just sit back and let this shit happen. If we dont act now, we are going to be powerless, to stop technology controlling our every move.

In our future, you walk down the street and drop litter, Big Brother will shout at you from a loudspeaker, try and picture the scene.

This is the police' answer to less policing on the streets. Having been an avid reader of Judge Dredd as a teenager, I am aware how we are actually going down that road.

Most Science Fiction, now becomes Science Fact, and what do we do about it???/ Nothing, because we TRUST THEM.

Well DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!!

We are being controlled, manipulated, moulded to become non-questioning, worker ants, who's sole purpose from the day of birth is to be a CONSUMER, and basically TOOLS to fund splinter cells, fund wars, and bolster a financial budget with OUR ILL HEALTH. Any government that can treate their citizens in this way, certainly dont deserve OUR VOTE.,

But on election day, what do you do?

You do, what you are told.

Look how NEW LABOUR manipulated the media, and therefore, the citizens to believing they had the answer, that Tories didnt. What was the difference? A different figure head? a more charismatic leader? A different colour? (blue to red)

Its fucking pathetic that we BELIEVE we live in a DEMOCRACY, the difference between a democracy and DESPOTISM is that we are allowed to vote, we are supposed to have choices, but what choice do you have?????

With Voting day getting nearer, I want everyone who reads this to STOP AND THINK, why vote for some pathetic liar who uses spin doctors to twist the reality into something AGREEABLE, and PALLETABLE, by us, so-called FREE THINKING CITIZENS.

Please, vote someone who is not in it for gain, i.e PROFIT , all this shit, about big multi-national corporations donating millions to these political parties, it is not on!!!!

Money, creates more money, and therefore, MORE CORRUPTION!!!!

We all know, the African territories are full of corruption, but we still believe, foolishly, that OUR OWN POLITICIANS ARENT??????? How dumb are people??????

Our leaders, put every decision through the public opinion polls before releasing information, so they can never fuck up, thats not POLITICS, that is bullshit, and no one is prepared to change radically enough to, for example, stop using petroleum fuelled cars, stop encouraging alcoholism in the young, etc

What they are extremely skilled at is slow, painstaking, societal moulding, which can take years. They already decided many years ago that they would have loudspeakers and cctv cameras in lampposts and trees, they decided many years ago, that each human being will be micro chipped at birth, it just takes time. Get us used to our puppies and kittens getting chipped first.

Their plan does not stop there. They have a plan to completely monitor the minute by minute account of every individual in this country, and are busily ensuring that every ones DNA, fingerprints, and Irises, and face is on the database.

There will be no alibis in court, there will be no crime, but lets face it, the law isnt the moral answer. Should Cannabis be illegal? Should speaking your mind on a blog, be illegal? Should having an opinion on someones race, gender, size be illegal?

Once they have us trapped, and if you commit a crime, the loudspeaker will tell you, the facial recognition technology will identify you, and the scanners will pick up on you biometric Identification. You will be summoned to court, accused of a crime, and every moment of that day you will have been tracked, and you will be punished, without even coming in contact with a human being. The funds for employing police will go on computer technology. By then we may even be arrested and taken to the cells, by an automated vehicle, which, apparently we will all have in less than twenty years.

Is this the future you want your children to grow up in????????/
